On Friday the 11th of February it was the Mapua School Tryathlon."On your marks get set GO!" Shouted Mr Taylor. We ran with excitement . The grass was really prickly under our stomping feet. We hoped on our bikes and started peddling . Our little legs went round and round as we went over the bumpy grass . We through off our helmets racing towards the swimming pool. The pool was sparkling as we jumped into the refreshing water. " Yeah!" we have nearly finished the race. Off we went to the finish line as the crowd cheered ." WE HAVE FINISHED THE RACE!"Green came first, Second came Red , Followed by Blue ,last came Yellow. The years 1,2,3, and all up to year 8 thought it was great . We were all so proud of ourselves.
