The Vanishing Birds
The window flew open "Aaahh!" yelled Charlie "my bedroom is haunted!"
Charlie stampeded out the room to tell his grandmother, Mary about his window. "That is probably just the wind" responded Mary. "Anyway" exclaimed Charlie "you know my wall paper," asked Charlie "it is slowly vanishing bird by bird." "It must be an illusion" answered Mary. "It is not!" said Charlie "I swear!" "Where has the bird on the wall gone? I want to know now!"
Suddenly they herd a rustling noise and Charlie screamed a mighty scream.
Then out from under Mary's bed came Berney the bird! Mary was scared and I don't mean scared I mean breathless. Suddenly a ray of green light struck Mary's heart and she was frozen. But not frozen for ever, just for one minute. The magic came from Berney.
One minute later Mary thawed out and strolled into Charlie's bedroom on her wheel chair.
10 seconds later she noticed in the corner of her eye she noticed all the birds were gone. She released a shriek of disappointment
Mary got so fed up with this event so she dialed 322196 on the telephone and called the pest control company.
Later that afternoon three traps arrived in the mail. Charlie was sent out to get them. He came back in and laid one on the dresser, another on the window pane and one more next to the heater. The next afternoon Charlie entered his room and to his surprise Berney was dead son he was not on the wall.
